Friend,
This newsletter is extra close to our hearts as we dedicate it in memoriam to Speaker Dick Hinch. Speaker Hinch was not only a passionate fighter for Republican causes, but a very dear friend to many across the state of New Hampshire. He dedicated a great deal of his time to our cause, and it is only appropriate that we continue to both acknowledge his efforts, as well as continue to keep on the fight in his legacy.
As you read today’s newsletter, please take a moment to appreciate Speaker Hinch’s tremendous work and to remember the new feats accomplished under strong republican leadership like his own.

Unfailingly positive and affable, Speaker Richard Hinch will live on in the hearts of NH Republicans in countless years to come. As a fighter for freedom and conservative values, Speaker Hinch was beginning his 7th term as state representative, having already served as Republican leader for multiple terms.
We would not have the Republican majority we have in this state without the effort and hard work of Speaker Hinch. The Speaker was instrumental in our 2020 election efforts and worked with a team of House Republicans, as well as the New Hampshire Republican Party, our State Senate Republicans, and Governor Chris Sununu to produce the ONLY legislative chamber flip during the 2020 cycle right here in New Hampshire.
Republicans are fighting for Speaker Hinch’s legacy and our recently passed budget - one that cut taxes and expanded school choice - fulfills some of his closest held priorities. We honor Speaker Hinch today and everyday by making the Granite State a better place and protecting our New Hampshire Advantage.

Concord, NH – Speaker Sherman Packard (R-Londonderry) released the following statement after Biden Administration mentions door-to-door campaign targeted at unvaccinated Americans:
“This type of political strong-arm tactic would not be well received by citizens of the Granite State. Legislators in New Hampshire will continue the fight to protect patients’ privacy and fight against federal overreach. We are well on our way to getting families and businesses back on track. Vaccines are available to those wishing to get vaccinated, and this idea of going door-to-door to private homes is not something we would ever consider or welcome here.”
Leader Osborne Statement on President Biden’s Vaccine Tactics “The Biden Administration has made it abundantly clear that they are not shy about intruding on Americans' right to medical privacy. The President’s call to begin targeting the doors of unvaccinated individuals is yet another reminder that this administration will trample our liberties if left unchecked. The Republican caucus remains committed to continuing our work to strengthen medical freedom and preserve privacy rights in New Hampshire. Granite Staters exercising their right to refuse a medical treatment should not be subject to an intimidation campaign at their doorstep. When the government tries to intrude on our households, it is up to us to slam the door in their face.”

Republican Spotlight : Rep. Daryl Abbas |
|
|
This week’s Republican of the week is Representative Daryl Abbas. Representing Rockingham, District 8, Rep. Abbas joined Governor Chris Sununu in the signing of House Bill 174 into law. As was inspired by their beloved cat Arrow, the bill requires that a report be made to the pet owner and/or to law enforcement in the case of collision between a vehicle and feline. Not only did Rep. Abbas sponsor this new legislation, but also titled it in their pet’s name as “Arrow’s Law”, requiring the same reporting for both dog and cat vehicle collisions.
Thank you Rep. Abbas for your terrific work here in New Hampshire! We appreciate all your efforts to create transparency and closure for Granite State pet owners.

The New Hampshire Federation of College Republicans is the officially chartered state organization for College Republicans all over the state of New Hampshire. With chapters at Saint Anselm College, Plymouth State, UNH, SNHU, Dartmouth, Franklin Pierce, and Keene State, the NHFCR has representation for a wide swath of the state. Executive board members include Chairman Ben Mickens, Executive Director Joseph LaCreta, Vice-Chair for CD1 Nate Twarog, Vice-Chair for CD2 John Michitson, Treasurer Kevin Chrisom, and Secretary Jessica Long. Our chapters are driven to keep college students engaged with conservative politics by bringing speakers to campus, presenting students with conservative internship opportunities in the state, and doing grassroots campaigning. The Federation board looks forward to helping get our chapters to a post-COVID reality while we work to keep Republican leadership in Concord as we push for Republican leadership in DC.
