Day of Action success! 🚴‍♀️

Councillors have continued to keep in touch with you via their weekly bike rides the around the ward.

They have been able to pick up casework along the way and have identified issues themselves which they have been able to report straight away.

Look out for them on their next ward ride and say hello!

Parking and footpath improvements

In Top Valley, local councillors have secured ÂŁ29,000 for improvement work on pavements around Crossfiled Drive, Erewash Gardens, and Henning Gardens. We want to thank our Highways team for the great work they have done. The improved pavements look much better and will be a lot safer for residents.

New parking schemes have taken place in Winterton Rise and Wyton close. Local councillors secured funding to create new parking spaces for residents. On Wyton close ward councillors worked with Nottingham City Homes to demolish the disused garage site to create additional parking for residents.

Help make Bestwood a nicer place to be

Bestwood Ward Councillors are starting monthly litter picks around the ward.  The litter picks will take place on the third Saturday every month at 11am - so the next one will be Saturday 21 August. We meet at a different point each month so before coming along please check My Bestwood Facebook or contact your local Councillor.

If you would like to join or suggest an area to be cleaned please do not hesitate to get in touch.
