But first, give me a chance to explain.

I’m running for Governor against Glenn Youngkin, a GOP extremist who has been endorsed by Donald Trump .

He’s a self-funding billionaire who has already promised to pour $75 million of his own fortune into this race, and folks, he’s all wrong for Virginia.

This race shouldn’t even be a contest, but the thing is, it’s getting dangerously close .

Now, it’s actually Republicans’ best shot at picking up a big win this year.

That’s why I’m reaching out personally today: I’m asking you to split a contribution between my campaign and the Democratic Party of Virginia because we need your support if we’re going to stand up to GOP extremism in our state. Will you join us?

This is a critical moment for Democrats. Last year, we gave it our all and managed to defeat Donald Trump and elect Democrats across the country.

But we’ve got to stay the course.

We need to work just as hard this year as we did last year, because simply put, we can’t afford to have a Republican like Glenn Youngkin as our governor.

He was caught on video pledging to defund Planned Parenthood. He opposes Medicaid expansion. He is anti-LGBTQ+, anti-woman, and pro-guns. And he said Donald Trump represents a lot of the reasons he’s running for Governor.

We can’t let this guy walk all over us and bring Trumpism to Virginia. Will you split a contribution between the Democratic Party of Virginia and my campaign so we can put a stop to this? We can’t do this without you.
