FOX NEWS: House GOP Reelection Chair Spotlights Surge In Female Republican Recruits
“There are a record number of Republican women serving in the House of Representatives, but the chair of the House GOP reelection arm says his party’s only getting started.
“Thirty-two right now, the highest number ever in our conference,” noted Rep. Tom Emmer, National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) chair.
“But I don’t think that’s necessarily something to celebrate,” the Republican lawmaker from Minnesota added. “We got started last cycle, we had some success. Now we have to build off that success.”
While the GOP lost the White House and Senate in the 2020 elections, the party unexpectedly over performed in House races, taking a bite out of the Democrats’ majority in the chamber. And 11 of the 15 House seats flipped by the GOP last November were by women candidates.”

Chair Elise Stefanik and Senator Marsha Blackburn Celebrate GOP Women
This week, House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik co-hosted an event with Senator Marsha Blackburn to celebrate the record number of Republican women in the 117th Congress. 2020 was the year of the Republican women, and this election cycle, GOP women are already leading the fight to Fire Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer once and for all!
GOP Women Challenger Highlights
GOP Women Fight to Protect the Unborn
Congresswoman Stefanik signed a Congressional Member Amicus Brief to the U.S. Supreme Court led by Republican Senators Roger Wicker and Cindy Hyde-Smith and co-signed by several GOP women members in the House, urging the Supreme Court to uphold the constitutionality of pre-viability restrictions on abortion in Mississippi State law, or return the case to the lower courts for full consideration. The Amicus Brief argues that the Supreme Court has failed to clarify the definition of viability after Roe v. Wade, which resulted in Federal Courts perceiving the viability line as a prohibition on any type of abortion restriction.
GOP Woman of the Week: Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis is the daughter of immigrants. Her father is from Greece and her mother is a Cuban exile of the Castro dictatorship.
President Biden and Democrats’ silence on Cuba and Anti-Semitism puts them on the wrong side of history. The GOP is united in its support for the Cuban people and in its support against Anti-Semitism. We need outspoken leaders like Congresswoman Malliotakis to continue to call out the silence of Far-Left Democrats.
