We all know that the Republican party is allergic to the truth. And one of the GOP's favorite strategies is to deflect blame onto women Democrats.

After allowing its members to spread conspiracy theories about the coronavirus pandemic, climate change, and even the Parkland shooting, we thought we'd seen the full extent of the GOP's pathetic lies.

But, John, it gets even worse: House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is now blaming Speaker Pelosi for the January 6 insurrection, saying that the insurrection turned violent because “the leadership at the top failed.”

The thing that failed, McCarthy, is the Republican party's commitment to democracy.

Every day, women in positions of power are blamed for the failings of the Republicans around them. From Speaker Pelosi to Vice President Kamala Harris, we have to show women in public office that they have our support.
