They successfully advocated for increasing funding for childcare to $50 billion in the American Rescue Plan Act — helping thousands of working parents to get back on their feet while boosting the economy.

From Tina’s first day in the Senate, she’s worked tirelessly to understand the typical problems facing working families and drafted key legislative solutions.

Back in 2018, she even hosted several childcare access & affordability listening sessions throughout Minnesota to better understand the challenges families face when searching for quality childcare.
