John,
I have some personal news. After four years and two election cycles, today is officially my last day here at the DFL before I head to law school at the University of Minnesota this fall.
I’m thrilled for this next chapter in my life as I begin studying labor law — continuing my journey to help working-class folks fight tooth and nail for the rights they deserve.
It’s certainly a bittersweet day: I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve built together, and I’m happy to be able to hand off the reins to Nora Ptacek’s capable hands. She’s been a great partner over the past few years, and I know she’ll be a great Finance Director.
The DFL has an incredible team. I’m so grateful to have worked with each and every one of the great people I’ve met here. There is no doubt in my mind our state and country have been made better thanks to their tireless work, and I can’t wait to see everything they achieve in the years to come.
Without your support, none of what they do would be possible. But I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t at least make one last ask of you to invest in these wonderful people.
If you can, join me today and donate $10, $25, $50, or whatever works for you to sustain our DFL Party’s legacy of electing progressive leaders across Minnesota.
