Democrats have been trying to win in New York's 1st district for years. And now with Zeldin bowing out to run for Governor, and it being a redistricting year, 2022 is lining up to be our best opportunity yet.
It's abundantly clear however that Washington Republicans are desperate to regain control of the House and obstruct Biden's agenda at every turn, so they won't be giving up their grip on New York's 1st district without a fight. To secure our House Majority and finally replace Zeldin with leadership that's about delivering progress, we must continue building a strong foundation for this campaign.
