You see, our majority in the Senate isn’t as strong as we’d like it to be. The chamber is split 50-50 and Vice President Kamala Harris is serving as the tie breaker.

That means Mitch McConnell only has to flip one seat to reclaim the majority and fulfill his promise to focus “100%” of his time on stopping the Biden administration’s agenda. And Senate Republicans raised $28 million (!) last quarter to make it happen.

But as Republicans are gearing up to reclaim the Senate and attacking vulnerable Democrats left and right, grassroots energy on our end has faded — fewer people are opening these messages and donations have slowed down quite a bit.

I know this team has what it takes to overcome McConnell’s rolodex of megadonors — heck, we did it last time around! But if we are going to protect our majorities, we need to show up with the same energy that led us to victory in 2020.
