You won't believe this, John.

Trump supporters in York County, Pennsylvania, are going door-to-door demanding to know who people voted for in the 2020 election. They've dubbed themselves the "election integrity committee," but this is not democracy in action -- this is bullying and intimidation.

At the same time, York County officials are currently deciding whether to comply with a "forensic audit" of the 2020 election, spearheaded by GOP state Senator Doug Mastriano. If this sham audit is approved, it will waste taxpayer dollars.

I've had enough. Donald Trump's lies are galvanizing extremists right here in Pennsylvania, and it's hurting the fabric of our democracy. I'm fighting back against the lies, and I need to know you're with me. Take action now to demand Republican leaders reject Trump's power grab and focus on the real matters at hand.

I co-sponsored the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act to put a stop to these outrageous attacks against our democracy. It's time for leaders to defend every American's right to vote and to quash Trump's fear-mongering and lies before they lead to even more violence.

The right to vote in any election without fear is the cornerstone of our democracy. That's why I will keep fighting, John, until the promise of our democracy is realized.
