When you stand up for decency, for truth, and for our democracy – a fire-hose of right-wing disinformation seems to follow.
Tucker Carlson went after my character.
Sean Hannity referred to me as “the congenital liar.”
Rudy Giuliani called me a liar – pot calling the kettle black.
And frankly some really disturbing QAnon attacks.
I don’t go searching for these. I don’t ask for these. That would be a waste of energy that they don’t deserve. But I want to speak up about it – and share with you their ridiculousness.
But why such vile and untruthful attacks? Because they think stooping to the level of their leader is how they win. And they’ve decided that’s their best shot at getting Donald Trump back in power.

The most disheartening part? It’s not just a right-wing media push. These words are being puppeted by GOP House Leader Kevin McCarthy. A man who mirrors the anti-science, anti-truth mentality of the former president. For our democracy's sake, and our health, he must never become Speaker.
Although, that’s becoming a real possibility that’s all too apparent with our slim House majority. Republicans came within a few seats of taking back the House in 2020, and now the odds are stacked in their favor.
House Republicans have outraised us by more than $8 million since Democrats won Georgia earlier this year. Frankly, the fundraising numbers aren’t even close.
To keep Kevin McCarthy out of the Speaker's office, and fight back against their right-wing machine, I need you on my side.
