During such a busy time, I think it’s helpful to take a moment to reflect on just how far we’ve come since last year.

With the Biden-Harris administration and our Democratic majority in Congress, we’ve been able to make a real difference in people’s lives here in Northeastern Pennsylvania and across the country. We’re beating back the pandemic, building back our economy better, and working towards revitalizing our national infrastructure.

This work is important, and it needs to continue. The GOP keeps showing us that they value accumulating power more than they do making a difference in the lives of everyday Americans. That’s no way to govern, John. Our majority in Congress is slim, but we have to hold it in the next election so that Republicans don’t stall our progress -- or worse, reverse it.

The GOP has not hidden the fact that they’re after my seat. They think they can win back control of Congress by targeting districts carried by Trump, so they’re pouring in national money to try and sway voters. My team has set strict fundraising goals to meet so that we’re able to fight back.
