Limited-time triple match >>>

John: Before the week comes to an end, I wanted to make sure you didn't miss out on this powerful opportunity to have your donation tripled — at this urgent hour of need.

Extreme heat and drought are worsening the child hunger crisis.

In Somalia, for example, drought and food shortages have forced families like Aisho's to flee their homes. I hope you can take a few minutes to read her story below. It's harrowing — but proof that your compassion and acts of kindness really do change lives.

You can triple your gift by using this link to rush your donation today: https://help.rescue.org/donate/child-survival-email

Thank you for all you do.

John: I want to make sure this email doesn't get lost in your inbox. Can you take a few minutes to read Aisho's harrowing story?

No parent should have to watch their child suffer from starvation.

As I write this email to you, extreme heat and drought are worsening the child hunger crisis. In Somalia, for example, drought and food shortages have forced families like Aisho's to flee their homes. Some children don't survive the journey, which often entails days of walking to reach a health clinic.

After you read this story, John, can you please consider making a donation — any amount, no matter how large or small — to help us reach more children and families like Aisho's? Your gift will be tripled today, if you use this link, to have 3X the impact for children and their families during this urgent hour of need: https://help.rescue.org/donate/child-survival-email

Aisho, a mother of three, was forced to flee her home in Jalaqlaqsi, Somalia because of drought.

"The effect of the drought was dreadful. We lost our livestock. I have three kids — but two of my other children died. One fell sick first, and then the other one. She had a range of symptoms, including diarrhea and vomiting."

After arriving in Mogadishu to seek help, Aisho brought her 20-month-old twin daughters, Amino and Zeinab, to be treated at an IRC clinic for malnutrition. Aisho is looking forward to a healthy future for them.

"The IRC gave me medicines and Plumpy'nut. They have really helped me. They are healthy now. Thank God they have regained their strength"

John: You can't control how hot or dry it gets this summer, but you can help us provide emergency support to children and their families facing food shortages, drought, and the kind of heat where it's tough to even breathe and nearly impossible to cool down.

Can you please help us provide emergency food, clean water, medical care and other critical aid to families in the world's toughest places, as well as continue our life-changing programs worldwide? Triple your gift right now (urgent: this is a limited-time match opportunity) by using this link to rush your donation today: https://help.rescue.org/donate/child-survival-email

Thank you, John.

P.S. This photo of Aisho and her baby girl is so powerful. It's proof that your compassion and acts of kindness really do change lives.

All gifts, up to $250,000, will be tripled by a generous donor, until September 30, 2021 at midnight. Your donation will be used where it is needed most.
