Happy Friday, team. I just ran our numbers and wanted to give you an update before the weekend.

Here’s the good news: Thanks to a brief surge yesterday, we’re now just $3,792 from our goal.

Now, the bad news: Our online donations have slowed back down to a trickle. 

I’ll put it bluntly. We will not reach our target by tomorrow’s deadline unless we pick up the pace again. I’m sending Governor Walz an update at 9:00 am tomorrow morning, and I’m really hoping I can tell him we’re back on track to meet our budget.

This is a critical time for us. Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan are already facing a relentless onslaught of attacks from their three GOP opponents, and even more challengers will be jumping in soon.
