Biscuit, a cuddle-loving sheep, owes his life to a compassionate teen. The 17-year-old was at a pop-up car sale located at a livestock auction yard. While wandering the grounds she found the little, blind ram-alone and scared, but looking for love. The two immediately clicked.
But Biscuit was in trouble. His owner planned to sell him for slaughter-and soon. The teen asked if she could have him instead, and she was able to take the little guy home.
In time, however, she realized Biscuit needed specialized care and the companionship of other sheep. She reached out for help-and with the support of friends like you, Farm Sanctuary was able to bring Biscuit into our care. After medical exams, quarantine, and an individualized plan for recovery, Biscuit is now safe and thriving at Farm Sanctuary's California shelter. You made Biscuit's second chance possible.
