This week Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced a plan to punish Australian’s who have chosen not to receive a COVID jab.

While light on details the PM‘s intent to use punitive measures to ensure the jab becomes, as he once put it, “as mandatory as possible” was crystal clear.

Speaking with Neil Mitchell on 3aw the PM ominously declared, “We have to have more restrictions on people who are unvaccinated because they’re a danger to themselves and others."

In an online poll, One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson asked Aussies if they thought that Morrison had gone to far.

The response was overwhelming, for tens of thousands of Australians the PM’s latest foray into attempted coercive control over citizens medical freedom was the last straw, with voters agreeing 10 to 1 that Morrison had crossed the line.

As Senator Hanson said in response to the overwhelming rejection of the PM’s plan, “It seems Morrison and the Coalition simply refuse to listen to the people and are determined to make the COVID jab as mandatory as possible.”

“Mark my words, the further we go down this path of trampling over people's rights and freedoms the harder it will be to go back.”

“Remember that the next time you are at the ballot box because the only way things are going to change is if the people in power change.”

What should be crystal clear to everyone at this point is the Liberal/National Coalition no longer has the ability, or the desire, to protect the rights and freedom that Australians hold so dear.

This failure of the Morrison Government to defend liberty in the face of an unprecedented wave of authoritarianism stand in stark contrast with the work being done by One Nation representatives and supporters across the nation.

One Nation has worked hard to defend your rights and liberties and will continue to do so as long as we have a presence in parliaments across this nation.

So remember that the next time you are at the ballot box, because the only way things are going to change is if the people in power change. And right now, the only party truly trying to change things for the better is One Nation

 

SHAME ON NSW MPS SITTING AT HOME ON FULL PAY WATCHING THE OLYMPICS

While Sydney, the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Illawarra and right down to Bargo near the Southern Highlands are under house arrest during this 9-week lockdown, at a huge employment and social cost, the Liberal and Labor Parties have decided to abandon the August sittings of the NSW Parliament, suspending democracy itself during a time of crisis.

The Berejiklian lockdown has failed. It was supposed to be 2 weeks of lockdown. It’s now 9.

Last week the Premier said there were “green shoots” of success. But this has become a parched desert, as the Covid numbers keep rising, with huge numbers loose in the community in the Hotspot areas.

The Parliament should sit to hold the Government to account, to re-examine the ‘health advice’ and debate alternative approaches to this policy failure.

Instead, Labor and Liberal MPs are now sitting at home on full pay watching the Olympics. It’s a disgrace, a slap in the face to the many people who have lost their businesses and jobs, and those families now slated to do 7 weeks of home schooling, at least.

The Labor frontbencher Rose Jackson has even told people to just enjoy ‘beautiful Sydney’ and get back to watching the Olympics. It’s easy for her to do, on full pay.

We are not in this together, not while the Parliament is closed down and MPs bludge on the taxpayers.

NSW One Nation will continue to fight for parliamentary democracy, for MPs to do their jobs and for a better, common sense alternative to this destructive failed lockdown.

The Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, appears hell-bent on rolling out “Vaccine Certificates” (aka Passports) in Australia, by no later than October this year.

During a recent press conference, the PM said grandly that all his world leader mates at the G7 had agreed with him, that the world needed a vaccine passport system rolled out as soon as possible.

The PM said vaccination certificates would “facilitate” people being able to travel in and out of the country – with the clear inference being that those who WEREN’T vaccinated, wouldn’t be travelling anywhere – not now and not ever, not if our PM has any say in the matter.

Oh but don’t worry, Scomo said with his trademark smirk, whether people decide to get vaccinated or not will be completely up to them – entirely “voluntary”.   Yeah right mate.

The PM also wants the certificates to have a much wider application within Australia, but said the domestic use of passports will need to be legislated through State parliaments.

“Only the state governments can place restrictions on people entering a venue, entering a place of work, things like this” he explained to the press, who naturally all wanted them introduced yesterday, if possible.

The Federal Government’s digital vaccine certificate system is already in place, with digital certificates generated by people’s MyGov account when someone receives their second shot.

The MyGov account is updated with information from the Australian Immunisation Register.

The PM said he hopes the certificate will be available through digital apps such as Apple Wallet within a matter of weeks.

All he needs is for the States to agree.  NO doubt there will be some serious financial deals done behind the scenes to ‘facilitate’ this over the coming weeks?
