This is a make-or-break moment for voting rights.

Texas Republicans have pushed to pass one of the most restrictive voter suppression bills in the entire nation. Their legislation would give partisan poll watchers the ability to intimidate voters, and it would suppress the votes of hundreds of thousands of Texans – disproportionately voters of color.

These attacks on voting rights are the greatest threat to our democracy since the Civil War.

That’s why Texas Democrats put everything on the line to stop voter suppression – blocking passage by leaving the state. But the GOP is now launching ads against them, and Republicans are spending gobs of money to unseat each and every one of them. That’s why they need our help.
