I dedicate this email to every U.S. Senator who makes $174,000 a year and
refused to vote to raise our national minimum wage of $7.25 an hour so workers
might live with some dignity.

John,

You don’t need an MBA to understand this: A minimum wage of $7.25 is great
for giant corporations, but devastating for the millions of Americans
trapped in poverty while working for less than $15 an hour.

I will truly never understand how Republicans in the Senate, let alone
some Democrats, can be OK with single mothers working for starvation
wages. Living in dignity isn’t political, and it’s long past time we raise
the national minimum wage to *at least* $15 an hour.

And make no mistake. Every penny a business pays below a minimum living
wage is a penny YOU AS TAXPAYERS cough up for things like food, shelter,
health care, child care.

In other words...

[ [link removed] ]Meme: $7.25 an hour is truly shitty, change my mind.

If you agree with me that our nation’s minimum wage of $7.25 an hour is
shitty, John, then know this:
Send me to the U.S. Senate, and I promise I would be that 51st vote to
raise it.

[ [link removed] ]But I need your help to get there. Can you please make
your first
donation of $5 or another amount to our
campaign? We must close our $102,769 fundraising deficit before our big
fundraising deadline on July 31.

In solidarity,

John

John Fetterman
Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania

P.S. When it comes to our nation's economy, I think it's pretty clear: We
don't have a labor shortage, we have a shitty wage surplus. [ [link removed] ]If you're
with me and ready for more Democrats who actually vote like Democrats in
the U.S. Senate, then please consider chipping in $5 or
more right now to help reach our July goal.
