Hey John — I wanted to make sure you saw yesterday’s email from Marty. 

This year has been a wild ride … and not an easy one. But up until now every attack by the GOP has been something I could brush off. 

But John, last week when Tucker Carlson texted me personally, begging me to call him after he slandered not only the cops who protected us on January 6 but also my wife — well that’s just behavior I can’t look past.  

Attacks against me are one thing, but when they are at the expense of my family … that’s off-limits. And I won’t tolerate it. 

The GOP needs to be held responsible for their dirty tactics and cheap shots. I’m fighting the hard, but necessary fight, to ensure we hold every single corrupt Republican accountable for their actions. 

That’s why we set a key fundraising goal for this month — so that my team has the resources needed to keep me in Congress and continue the fight no one else wants to take up.

Marty here — Eric’s Deputy Director of Finance. We’re closing out the end of July in just a few short days, so I wanted to let you know where we stand for the month:

I’ll be honest with you: July is always a tough month for fundraising. People are busy on vacation or spending time with their family and friends — both of which are pastimes we’ve missed out on for the last year — so it’s no surprise that political fundraising isn’t on the top of anyone's mind right now.

But the reality is that since the beginning of this year, our team has faced a lot of attacks by the GOP … more than I have ever witnessed in my time on Team Swalwell! So to stay on track this month and ensure we have the resources to fight back, we’ve set a goal of reaching 2,000 donations by the end of July.

Right now, we’re at 1,195 donations so far for the month, so we have a ways to go but I know we can hit that 2,000 mark! Can you chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can afford today to help us hit our donor goal before Saturday at midnight?

So far this year Eric has faced attacks from Kevin McCarthy, Donald Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Mo Brooks, and more — all of whom are raising millions while barely lifting a finger. And now they’ve recruited Tucker Carlson and FOX News to come after Eric with false headlines and misinformation, hoping they can weaken our team or smear Eric’s record.
