National Night Out is back this year! It’s one of the biggest opportunities we have all year to talk with our friends and neighbors about issues that matter to us – and a perfect time to start a conversation with your neighbors about Ranked Choice Voting, how it works, why it matters to you, and the progress we are making in expanding this important reform statewide in Minnesota. People across the state are worried about the direction of our democracy and want to know what they can do to help protect and strengthen it. RCV is a popular conversation on NNO!

Let Us Know You'll Be Out on NNO

Let’s keep growing the movement for RCV one person, one neighborhood at a time!

Ask your neighbors if they have heard about RCV. Let them know that you would like every city that wants to use RCV to have the option to use it AND you would like to see it used in our state elections. Print the RCV petition for statewide RCV or ask people to sign the petition online for folks who want to join the movement and help us advance RCV.

If you live in one of the five cities using RCV this year – Minneapolis, St. Paul, St. Louis Park, Bloomington, or Minnetonka – this is a great time to check in with your neighbors and educate them about how RCV will work in your elections this year. Sign up, and we will follow up with you and provide additional materials to take to your block party. If your block doesn't have a party but you still want to volunteer, sign up and we'll assign you parties to go to.
