When Democrats took the White House and Congress earlier this year, we promised that help was on the way. Democrats delivered.

We passed the American Rescue Plan, which boosted vaccine distribution, brought funding to state and local governments and put stimulus checks in people’s hands.

Democrats expanded the Child Tax Credit, sending monthly payments of up to $300 per month per child to parents. Those checks were deposited this month and will continue through the rest of the year.

John, it would not have been possible without our Democratic majority in the House. EVERY SINGLE Republican in Congress voted against the American Rescue Plan. Yet, Democrats only have a razor-thin majority in the House. It is so small, it can disappear in one election, one redistrict, one retirement.
