Mind Body Spirit: A Group for Black Women Working in the Entertainment Industry


Tuesday, August 24, 4 pm CT

Mind Body Spirit, a group for Black women in entertainment, provides an opportunity for connection, creative growth, affinity, diversity and community. We welcome and encourage all Black women across the entertainment community to join.

 


The Career Center

The Career Center offers a comprehensive suite of online programs and services that help entertainment industry and performing arts professionals to identify and find sideline work and discover new careers outside the industry.

Get started by attending The Career Center Orientation (Monday* or Thursday* session) to enroll in the career services offered. Once you've done that, you can enroll in workshops including Career Journey**.

Additional workshops include Spotlight On Dancers Across The Country: Moving Forward In 2021*, The Virtual Creative Classroom Symposium** and Creativity Doesn't Age**.

The Actors Fund offers personalized health insurance counseling and enrollment support, referrals to health care resources and seminars on how to care for yourself.

Watch the Every Artist Insured National Webinar that offers a comprehensive, unbiased overview of health insurance options nationally. It’s geared towards those who are losing coverage through a union or job, as well as those who have never had coverage before.

Social Services

With respect and understanding, our professional social workers offer our community help to address a wide array of challenges via online and phone counseling and support groups, education and practical help—completely free of charge.
