Chuy for Congress

Hi John,

When we started the month, Chuy set the lofty goal of raising $10,000 to help fuel our progressive movement. Our campaign is focused on building the next generation of progressive candidates -- candidates following in the footsteps of AOC, Bernie Sanders, and other progressive champions bold enough to stand up for a future where we decriminalize immigration, pass Medicare for All, return dignity, fairness, and security to workers, and leave a better planet for our children.

So, with just a few days left, we wanted to check in with an update on our July fundraising numbers.

It's not good.

John, when you take on big fights, especially fights that challenge the status quo, you are bound to run into enemies. One of the problems with politics is that those enemies often come with DEEP pockets. So, with just a few days left before our deadline, we are sad to report we are just barely halfway to our July goal, and if we can't hit that goal, we're afraid that we'll have to pull back SIGNIFICANTLY from helping to defend frontline progressive challengers in the House.

So, John, we need you now. If you chip in a donation of $3, $5, $10, or whatever you can today, you'll be sending the message that our grassroots network is stronger than any powerful special interest seeking to intimidate our progressive movement. But we need YOU and the rest of our grassroots team to help send that message RIGHT NOW. We're not going to abandon our progressive allies taking on far-right goliaths when they need us most.
