1. The Senate is split 50-50 and Vice President Kamala Harris is the tie-breaker. That means Mitch McConnell only has to flip one seat to reclaim the majority and turn the Senate back into a legislative graveyard.

2. Senate Republicans’ brought in a whopping $28 million last quarter. Already, they’ve used their seemingly limitless war chest to start launching attacks on vulnerable Democrats.

3. We are behind on our July end-of-month goal. Look, the summer slump has hit us hard. But if we are going to compete with the GOP’s rolodex of megadonors and protect our slim Senate majority, then we are going to need to catch up — quickly.
