Saturday at midnight marks an urgent, end-of-month fundraising deadline for our campaign. Before we ask you to chip in, here's a quick rundown on the dynamics or our race:

Once again, we're up against a self-funder with the ability to dump millions on TV ads to attack Mike. We also got word that a second Trump-Republican jumped in against us. It's likely he has the blessing of Kevin McCarthy, and the OC Register reports he's, "picking up steam."

There's another wildcard we're dealing with. We have redistricting on the horizon which will change our district lines and add new voters to the fold that we'll have to introduce Mike to.

After two tough elections, we wish we could tell you things will get easier, but the truth is we can't let our guard down for a moment. This district is as competitive now as it was when we flipped it back in 2018.

Mike is making meaningful progress in Congress, but we can't understate how critical each of these fundraising deadlines is for our chances of keeping this seat blue.

Our goal is to run a comprehensive, grassroots campaign to talk to more undecided voters than any of the other candidates in this race combined, but doing that takes time and resources, and since Mike's rejecting corporate PAC cash we're depending on your support to meet the mark.
