I’ll be direct: I’m reaching out today ahead of our upcoming end-of-month fundraising deadline to ask if you can make a contribution to help us continue organizing for our bold progressive agenda.
We’ve set a goal of 500 grassroots contributions between now and then, so anything you can add today will go a long way toward helping us get there. What do you say?
Let me explain a bit further: I mean it when I say that our campaign is a people-powered movement.
The vast majority of the money we raise comes from lots and lots of working people chipping in what they can, when they can — and the fact that our average contribution this year is $26.21 is one I’m incredibly proud of.
Our opponents — the right-wing special interest groups, the fossil fuel lobbyists, the dark money super PACs — they have deep pockets, and they know how to use them. No doubt about it. But what we have is much stronger.
We have thousands and thousands of people across the country coming together to chip in $3, $10, and $26 at a time. That adds up to a movement.
That’s the only way we fuel the fight to build progressive power in Congress and beyond — together. Are you in?
