Friend,
I didn't get into politics because I wanted a fancy addition to my resume. I serve because I wanted to make life better for my neighbors and for you and your family – and because I wanted to give back to the community and country that have given me so much.
This was my focus when I helped pass the American Rescue Plan, which provided millions for small businesses – and my focus when I fought for $18 million of infrastructure investments for Chester County. Every day, I'm excited and honored to build a country of opportunity and progress.
But 15 months ahead of the next election, this progress is in jeopardy. The GOP – which made gains in the House in 2020 and is predicted to take back the House in 2022 – has already pegged my seat as one of their top targets. What's more, my opponent donated $645,000 to himself last month. That kind of money is meaningful: it can be used to tell mistruths, stoke fears, and buy elections for the GOP.
I need to be able to communicate our positive message to PA-06. To do this and to take the GOP threats head-on, my team set an end-of-month goal of $10,000 in grassroots donations, but right now we're falling short of this goal – and with my opponent writing his campaign six-figure checks, we have a steep hill to climb if we want to defend this battleground seat.
Please, friend, will you pitch in $5, $25 – whatever you can spare – to this movement for progress and to keep PA-06 and the House blue?
Every dollar you give makes a huge difference in our grassroots movement for progress.
Thank you, friend. As always, there is work to be done,
Chrissy
