Halloween is NOT an Excuse for Weight Stigma

"Fat costumes" sold by retailers during the Halloween season almost always mock a body type described as having obesity. These costumes are meant to be funny, but they actually stigmatize a serious disease that most people still don't understand. Stigma can lead to:

SHAME. HUMILIATION. STEREOTYPES. WORSENED HEALTH.
