Clean Champions doing Clifton proud! ✨

Did you know Clifton has one of the highest numbers of Clean Champions in the city?

Volunteers regularly carryout litter picks across the area, helping to Keep Clifton Tidy.  In addition to the regular litter pick work that volunteers do as part of their weekly routine, we organise larger group litter picks.

For more information on when these will happen keep an eye out on the My Clifton East facebook page.

Want to sign up to become a Clean Champion? You'll get a FREE litter pick, high-vis and other equipment and join a friendly community. Join here.

Coming to Clifton this Summer!

There’s lots of activities happening over the summer in Clifton, even if we haven’t been able to organise the usual fun days!

Watch out for more information, but on 4 August there will be Jumpers 4 Goal posts organised by Step Out Stay Out, the Clifton Amateur Boxing Club is running their regular sessions, Summerwood Community Gardens has a number of gardening and volunteer opportunities, and there will be a range of activities as part of the Holiday Activities Fund at various locations around Clifton (see info below!)

Your local Councillors are excited to work with the local community to bring you fun activities over the holidays.

Green Lane Improvements

During the summer holidays the section of Green Lane between Glapton School and Southchurch drive will be resurfaced and the existing speed cushions will be replaced with other road safety measures, including a new zebra crossing point near Lidl.

These improvements have been a priority for Clifton Councillors for a number of years, and it’s great to be working with our highways team to ensure the road resurfacing can be done at the same time – saving on disruption, time, and money!
