NPR: More abortion restrictions have been enacted across the U.S. this year than in any previous year.
Republicans have introduced dozens of reproductive rights restrictions in states across the country hoping to overturn Roe v. Wade.
In Texas, Governor Greg Abbott signed an anti-abortion bill that bans abortions after six weeks, which is before most women even know they're pregnant. He made no exception for victims of rape or incest.
In Arkansas, Republicans tried to implement a law that would ban ALL abortions.
In Washington, the GOP's 6-3 majority in the Supreme Court is preparing to take up a Mississippi case that seeks to overturn Roe v. Wade.
We need to act now, or risk losing the right to choose forever. The only way to secure women's reproductive rights, no matter what stunt the GOP pulls, is to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law.
