This Saturday marks our first end-of-month fundraising deadline since we launched our campaign. Before I ask you to make a contribution, I want to shed some light on the state of our race and explain why your early support is so important:

I'm running in a brand-new congressional district here in Montana. Our district lines have yet to be drawn, which means we're not 100% certain who our voters will be.

But we do know this:

There's a very good chance this race will become one of the most competitive in the country. It's likely we're up against Trump-backed Republican Ryan Zinke, who we expect will attract enormous sums of money from corporate PACs and fossil fuel interests.

We need to get this campaign off the ground quickly, which is why this month's fundraising goal is so critical, and it's why I am asking:

Can you please make a contribution to our campaign before our end-of-month fundraising deadline comes to a close? I wouldn't be asking if it were not so important to our efforts.
