The GOP's latest dirty trick targets a NewDem

This year, the GOP is plotting to use redistricting to give themselves a massive electoral advantage headed into the 2022 midterms — and one of their schemes involves squeezing a NewDem Member out of Congress.

Tennessee Republicans are attempting to redraw the boundaries of NewDem Jim Cooper’s district, which includes the City of Nashville. By cracking this district, they could force him to run in a new, Republican-leaning area — effectively edging him out of his seat.
