Not many
campaigns would be as transparent as this, but we trust and value our
supporters and want to make sure you’re kept in the loop.

The chart below is a screenshot from our ActBlue account showing our
fundraising over the past six months. Take a look:

As you can see, our
donations have taken a bit of a nose-dive since March. We rely on
consistent donations from our supporters in order to keep our campaign
running, so when we see our fundraising consistently decline like this, it
impacts our programs and how much we can organize in our district and
beyond.

[ [link removed] ]In order to get back on track and meet our July targets, we crunched
the numbers and set a goal: we need to raise $20,000 by midnight on July

Historically, summer is a hard time for progressive campaigns like ours to
fundraise. And as you can see in the chart above, our campaign is no
exception to this rule. While we knew we would likely see a dip in
fundraising, we weren’t expecting how big that dip would be.

And while Ro is proud to refuse money from corporate PACs and lobbyists,
it means that instead of receiving huge checks that could close our
fundraising gap instantly, we rely on $5, $15, and $50 donations from
emails like this one.

We believe that relying on grassroot supporters over corporate PACs is the
right way to do politics. But it means we need your help now more
than ever to help to close our gap and reach our goal of $20,000 by
midnight on July 31.

nose-dive we’ve seen in our fundraising efforts. Every dollar you can give
