Hi John,
Today we're very excited to announce our newest endorsement class: 55 diverse, young progressives who'll be on the ballot in 2021
or 2022.
Run for Something will be working closely with these talented young leaders to help them win power and drive progress in their communities. They're the future of the movement, John, each of them has an incredible opportunity to advance policy that uplifts and empowers their neighbors.
But they can't do it alone -- and with your energy and activism, they won't have to!
You can meet and read about the July 2021 Endorsement Class now; when and where they're running, the change they hope to champion if elected, and how you can make all the difference >>>
Now, one of my favorite parts of endorsement day -- which offices our candidates are seeking by the numbers:
Even better, where they are and how they identify: The July class features candidates across 21 states. Of this group, 55% identify as BIPOC, 51% identify as women, 4% identify as non-binary, and 25% identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I'll be honest though, those numbers don't begin to describe how amazing these folks are, John.
We've been vetting candidates for months to ensure their vision in office aligns with our progressive values and gauge their preparedness to go the distance and win power come Election Day.
This month's class includes working parents, veterans, social workers, teachers, community organizers, and so many more. These tenacious young progressives have overcome adversity in their personal lives and proven to their communities (and us!) that they're ready for the privilege to serve in public office.
Now, Run for Something needs to come together and help them win. Will you chip in
