I'm reaching out personally to ask you to chip in $3 (or anything you can) to help fund our Women's March texting work: We’re hosting texting banks to fight against the rising wave of white nationalism in this country, get the word out about Women's March mobilizations, prepare for the 2022 midterms, and more, so we need your help.

Here's a bit of background, John:

During the lead up to the 2020 Election, our texting outreach program was a critical part of our organizing work to kick Trump out of the White House and flip the Senate. Together, Women's Marchers across the country sent over 21,668,506 texts to other women to help get out the vote for Democrats.

I know that if we work together like that again, we can continue transforming the future of our country and make progress in fighting for our communities.

Now, we're starting to ramp up our texting programs again ahead of the 2022 election. But the truth is, texting out the vote and digitally organizing via text can get pretty expensive — and we can't afford to let the impact of the urgent work Women's March is doing be limited by the cost of sending texts.

We pulled the numbers, and I'd like to share them with you now: It costs just about $0.01 to send one text.

So that means that a donation as modest as $10 could fund 1,000 texts to further Women's March's feminist priorities and programs. Sending as many texts as possible can only help if every person who reads these emails pitches in today, so can you help out?

Can you chip in $3 or anything you can today to fund our texting tools, help us train volunteers, and reach out to more folks? It costs just about $0.01 per text, so we mean it when we say any amount you can give today will make a huge impact on how many people we can reach.
