Nancy Pelosi isn't fazed by Kevin McCarthy's desperate new attack on her and the House select committee investigating the January 6 insurrection.
At a recent press conference, McCarthy absurdly blamed Pelosi for allowing the riot to reach the Capitol. McCarthy said that “leadership at the top failed” that day. When he was asked if GOP leader Mitch McConnell shares any of that blame, McCarthy of course had no response.
But Nancy Pelosi has the facts straight, friend:

Friend, our Democrat investigators need your help. Nancy Pelosi had absolutely no role in the violence at the Capitol on January 6, and it is ridiculous and dangerous to claim that she did. Far-right insurgents are to blame here, friend -- we know that. We need to support our Democrat investigators as they fight through the Republican disinformation campaign and find the truth.
