Fighting The Good Fight

If you've been around for a while in the great battle to preserve religious liberty, defend our Judeo-Christian values and the sanctity of life, you certainly know the name James Dobson.

Dr. Dobson is the founder of Focus on the Family. He grew it from a small organization to a massive pro-family operation that is thriving today. Dr. Dobson is still "fighting the good fight" through the James Dobson Family Institute ([link removed]) . He also hosts a daily radio program called Family Talk.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of taping two radio shows with Dr. Dobson that will air later this summer. The occasion was the 30th anniversary of the publication of "Children At Risk," a book Dr. Dobson and I wrote together.

In "Children At Risk," we warned decades ago about what was happening in our schools at the hands of radical secularists. We also warned about the rise of socialism and Marxism in American.

Of course, we were attacked and mocked by the left. And, sadly, our warnings were greeted with skepticism even from many Christian leaders. Yet, everything we predicted in "Children At Risk" has come true.

Dr. Dobson and I talked about how prophetic the book was. And we also agreed that the crisis America is in today is not irreversible. With God's help, and a rededication of men and women of faith to restore our country as a "shining city upon a hill," we can prevail.

In other words, it's up to all of us to pray for God's mercy, but we must also act. We must use every liberty we have to save our children, our families, our values and our nation for generations to come.

There is no greater cause than saving America, "the last best hope of earth."

This is not the time for "summer soldiers and sunshine patriots," as Thomas Paine so aptly put it. We cannot give in to demonization and demoralization. (More on that below.) We must persevere. We must continue to "fight the good fight" for faith, family and freedom.

With your prayers and continued support ([link removed]) , that's exactly what I intend to do so long as God grants me breath!



Muddled Messages

Ever since the pandemic began, I have been careful about how I described COVID-19 and the vaccines. People deserve accurate information. But here's what jumped out at me during yesterday's new mask mandate announcement. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky ([link removed]) said:

"In rare occasions, some vaccinated people infected with the delta variant after vaccination may be contagious and spread the virus to others. This new science is worrisome and unfortunately warrants an update to our recommendations."

They didn't give us numbers and said this was "rare." And based on that they are telling 163 million Americans who are fully vaccinated that they have to wear masks again. This makes no sense ([link removed]) . The CDC continues to undermine its own credibility.

We also know from testing that 34.5 million Americans ([link removed]) have had COVID. The CDC has estimated in the past that for every known confirmed test, there are likely many more infections ([link removed]) in people who were not sick enough to get tested.

The evidence strongly suggests that those who have had the virus have significant antibodies and "lasting immunity ([link removed]) " from the virus. For those who have had COVID, not getting vaccinated is a totally logical decision.

Why aren't the president, vice president and CDC pointing this out?

There are millions of other Americans, particularly those between the ages of 16 and 35, who have talked to their doctors and decided they don't want to take an "emergency use" vaccine when statistically they are not at high risk of serious illness.

Yet, Biden suggested that Americans not choosing to get vaccinated are stupid ([link removed]) . His comments come amid a growing effort to demonize the unvaccinated, including suggestions they are all white evangelical Trump supporters.

The truth is that more blacks and Hispanics ([link removed]) are choosing not to get vaccinated. (We already know that Biden thinks minorities can't use the Internet ([link removed]) .)

One thing is perfectly clear: The guy who said he would be a uniter is the Divider-in-Chief when it comes to COVID and so many other issues. And he's not alone.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who just got a "Get Out of Jail Free" card from the Justice Department, pounded the table and said, "We have to knock on those doors . . . and put them in a car and drive them and get that vaccine in their arm."

That sounds like a threat to me.



Biden's Health Crisis

While Biden was bashing the American people yesterday rather than communist China, the health crisis at the southern border continued to grow. The record number of illegal aliens crossing the border are coming from countries with low vaccination rates, and there is yet another COVID variant ([link removed]) that is predominant in Latin America.

We know many of those crossing the border are infected ([link removed]) . We know they are not all being tested. We know that many of them refuse to be vaccinated ([link removed]) .

So, while Biden is limiting your life again, he's doing nothing to stop infected illegal aliens from entering the country. This isn't just a hypothetical concern.

Authorities in one Texas town are scrambling ([link removed]) to contain a potential outbreak after discovering that scores of infected migrants released to Catholic Charities were violating all protocols and restrictions.

Not surprisingly, the map ([link removed]) showing where the Delta variant is widespread includes much of the southern border.

Curiously, no one from the Biden Administration is saying, "We've determined that in rare cases those entering the United States illegally are infected with the coronavirus, so we're closing the border until we can get this under control."

In other words, why isn't the "rare case" argument being used to close the border when the evidence suggests it isn't that "rare" at all?



Pelosi Plays Politics

Speaker Nancy Pelosi's Soviet show trial into the events of January 6th began yesterday on Capitol Hill. Virtually every American would like to know more about exactly what happened on January 6th, including why there was such a security breakdown especially since the FBI had advance warning ([link removed]) that violence was possible.

But it's clear that the purpose of this committee is not to discover any of those details. And that's the most important point you must understand.

The purpose of these hearings is not to find the truth, but to promote a false narrative that Donald Trump caused the violence, and to indict not just those arrested but to also defame and discredit the 74 million people who voted for Donald Trump.

That was obvious given that all nine ([link removed]) of Pelosi's handpicked committee members voted to impeach Trump. And it was obvious in her choice of witnesses. (Here ([link removed]) and here ([link removed]) .)

This is the strategy of the Democrat Party and their media allies ([link removed]) . They are lobbing irresponsible charges of growing white supremacy, comparing conservatives to the Taliban and now putting on a show trial.

The purpose of these hearings is to demonize you, to intimidate you, and politically destroy the half of the country that does not want America to become a failed Marxist state.

And you don't have to take my word for it. The National Association of Police ([link removed]) blasted the hearing as a "dog and pony show," and demanded an investigation into last year's Antifa/BLM riots that killed dozens of people and injured 2,000 law enforcement officers.

It is disgraceful that Republicans Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are willing accomplices in this charade. They are standing with the radical left that is destroying this country because they are so consumed with hatred for Donald Trump and his supporters.

I am 100% committed to ensuring that both are defeated and replaced with solid, America First conservatives!
