Governor DeWine Appoints Caparella-Kraemer to Butler County Court

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)?Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the appointment of Courtney N. Caparella-Kraemer to the Butler County Court.

Caparella-Kraemer, of Liberty Township, will assume office on August 9, 2021, and will be taking the seat formerly held by Judge Robert Lyons. Judge Lyons was previously appointed to a different seat on the same court by Governor DeWine, which created this vacancy. Caparella-Kraemer's appointed term to the Butler County Court will expire on January 1, 2025.

Caparella-Kraemer has served as a Managing Partner at Caparella-Kraemer & Associates, LLC, since August 2009.

In prior positions, she served as Associate Attorney at Lyons & Lyons Co., L.P.A., and was also an Associate Attorney/Law Clerk at Burdge Law Office.

Caparella-Kraemer received her law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law, where she served as vice president of the Women's Caucus and was awarded?the Dean's Scholarship. Prior to that, she earned her undergraduate degree at Miami University.?

Caparella-Kraemer currently is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.
