The Summer Olympics kicked off in Tokyo last week, and I’m so proud of all the Maryland athletes on Team USA representing our great state and our country.

There’s a throughline between what the Olympians are doing in Tokyo this summer and what our grassroots team does every day. 

Yes, you read that right.

While we might not be competing to bring home the gold in swimming or track and field, like the Olympians, our team is driven by passion and perseverance. 

Whether you contribute to our campaign because you want to elect leaders who will fight for climate action and to preserve the Chesapeake Bay, or you want to elect leaders who will advocate for access to more affordable health care so no one has to go bankrupt just to go to the doctor, we’re giving this grassroots organization our all to create a better future for Maryland families.
