Greg Abbott is doing a horrendous job when it comes to encouraging Texans to get vaccinated against COVID-19. So it’s unsurprising that we are among the least-vaccinated states in the country.

Back in April, Gov. Abbott banned state agencies, political subdivisions, and organizations receiving political funds from creating “vaccine passports” or otherwise requiring someone to provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccine in order to receive services.

What this means: Vaccine passports are being developed around the world as a way to quickly prove someone’s vaccination status -- and they’re working. But Abbott would rather watch his constituents get sick and die than anger his MAGA base.

We need to pressure him to do everything he can to encourage Texans to get vaccinated. So please, add your name to tell Abbott to lift the ban on vaccine passports.
