Covering the Biden administration has been vexing. In some departments, his administration has been better than I expected. In others, I have been underwhelmed.
For instance, while Attorney General Merrick Garland enjoys #resistance liberal hero status for his thwarted Supreme Court bid, his appointment to head up the Department of Justice
is not so heroic.

dug into the powerful roles Garland has been farming out to the favored lawyers of Big Tech; it was actually quoted on the Senate floor during the Judiciary Committee hearing for Vanita Gupta, who was recently confirmed as associate attorney general.
