Please keep us in your thoughts.

Dear Soldiers' Angels Supporters,

Today, with a heavy heart, I am writing to share the news of the passing of one of our key staff members, Dr. Jennifer Cernoch. Jennifer served as our Vice President of Development for the past eight years. This past Friday, she lost her battle with cancer after an intense seven-month fight.

If you had the honor of knowing Jennifer then I do not need to tell you how difficult this is for our Soldiers' Angels family. Jennifer touched many lives during her time on this Earth and she will be missed very deeply.

If you had the privilege to work with Jennifer in the past, you will also understand when I say that Jennifer set the standard for our organization and its relationships at a very high level.

As we continue forward, charting a course that no longer includes Jennifer's help at the helm, I want to ensure you that our standard will remain just as high if not higher.

Rest assured, although this news may seem to come suddenly to the public, we have been working internally at Soldiers' Angels for the past seven months to make this transition as seamless as possible. Jennifer did not want her illness to interrupt our ability to provide for the military and veteran community for even one minute and we intend to do everything we can to carry out her wishes.

Please keep Jennifer's family and our Soldiers' Angels family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

If you are interested in showing your support during this difficult time, in lieu of sending flowers to our offices or to the funeral services, it was Jennifer's wish that you instead make a donation to Soldiers' Angels in her name [[link removed]].

More details about Jennifer, her funeral services, and her final wishes are available here [[link removed]] and more details about her cancer journey here [[link removed]].

With Gratitude,

Amy PalmerPresident and CEO Soldiers' Angels
