John,

Mitch McConnell only needs one seat to take back the Senate next year, and he has his eyes set on New Hampshire Sen. Maggie Hassan.

Hassan is one of the most vulnerable Democrats in the Senate, John. She only won by about 1,000 votes in 2016 -- and her seat was previously held by a Republican.

McConnell made it clear, “100%” of his focus is on stopping this administration, and if he flips this seat to take back the Senate majority, he'll have a free path to do it. Everything is on the line in this race -- voting rights, climate action, a fair minimum wage, immigration reform, and a chance to move our country forward.

From spearheading a historic bipartisan infrastructure bill to finding consensus on the COVID-19 relief bill, Sen. Maggie Hassan has played a crucial role in defending working families in Washington. If Republicans succeed in flipping this seat, we won't just lose our razor-thin Senate majority, we'll also lose another progressive voice to a far-right Senator.

We're working around the clock to protect vulnerable Democrats like Sen. Maggie Hassan because women can't afford to lose any more representation in the Senate -- and the American people can't afford Mitch McConnell's revamped legislative graveyard.

Thank you for helping us ensure a vital voice remains in the Senate. Maggie Hassan has done crucial work behind the scenes for years, now it's time to thank her by helping her protect this seat.

P.S. CNN projects Sen. Maggie Hassan's seat is among the most likely to flip this cycle. We WILL lose this seat if we don't act now, but too many Democrats have grown complacent. Please, if the thought of “Majority Leader Mitch McConnell” worries you, pitch in $25 now to help us hold the Senate: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/a-womans-place
