John,
BREAKING: The House of Representatives will vote TODAY on an amendment [1] to finally stop warrantless [2] spying of Americans’ private information and communications under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
Your Representatives need to hear from you right now to make sure that this amendment is passed. THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO RIGHT AWAY IS TO CALL +1 202-759-7766 to get connected to your Representative based on zip code. But if you can't then sign this petition or retweet this tweet.
TAKE ACTION
The Fourth Amendment clearly establishes our right to privacy, meaning government agencies like the NSA and the FBI should not be able to get into our private information without first having probable cause and a court-ordered warrant. But these agencies use Section 702 to do exactly that. This must stop. Call +1 202-759-7766 or sign this petition to help pass the Lofgren-Massie amendment to the Commerce, Justice, and Science Appropriations Bill (HR 4505) immediately.
For privacy,
