All of the progress we've made so far -- a fully funded public education system, a growing economy, and expanding broadband -- could be under attack if we lose in 2022. That's why it's so important that we hit our $12,000 July end-of-month fundraising goal before Saturday's deadline.
The money we raise helps us expand our digital programs, grow our campaign team, fight back against Republican's attacks, and so much more. And when we fall short, we have to think about making cuts -- and thinking about that this early in the cycle is a bad sign.
Early investments are crucial when planning any campaign -- and it's especially true when you're running in a race that Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight, Inside Elections, The Kansas City Star, and Cook Political Report are all calling one of the most likely Democratic governor seats to flip in 2022.
Now that we have two opponents in the race, the stakes have been raised in our campaign. Falling behind early on is not an option -- there's too much at stake in 2022. And national Republicans have made it clear flipping Kansas' governor's race is their top priority this year.
I need to know I can count on your support to help us hit this goal. Pitch in $5, or whatever you can, right now to help us hit our crucial $12,000 July end-of-month fundraising goal >>https://secure.actblue.com/donate/lk-july21-eom
