Every so often, one of the right-wing culture warriors comes oh-so-close to accidentally getting it right. This time, it's Candace Owens, who meant to write an anti-vax Twitter rant but actually composed a poignant plea for affordable health care instead.

Oh, Candace, we wish we knew. To our surprise, we suddenly find ourselves agreeing with Ms. Owens, a frequent face on Fox News and Infowars.

Our country is still not out of the woods from a lethal pandemic. This year, we witnessed the free, universal distribution of a life-saving vaccine in every state. If these circumstances don't tell us that affordable health care is both urgently necessary and undeniably possible -- well, what will?

We never thought we'd be the ones to say this, but here goes: Team, we need you to stand with Candace Owens and support affordable, accessible health care for Americans.

Seriously, now is the time. Yes, anti-vax misinformation is rampant, and our vaccine rollout has encountered obstacles. But that only makes it more obvious that we need health care reform. Let's catch up to the rest of the world. Stand with Candace and chip in a few bucks to keep all Americans healthy -- not just in a pandemic, but all the time.
