McCourt for Morris County Commissioner Changing The Face of Local Politics in New Jersey
July 28, 2021- T.C. McCourt is proud to receive the endorsement of Run for Something (RFS), the groundbreaking organization that recruits and supports strong voices in the next generation of progressive leadership.
“I am truly ecstatic to be endorsed by RFS,” said McCourt. “For much of my adult life, I have done everything possible to encourage more and more young people to get involved in politics and government. To step up for their communities by running for office. The bench that RFS is creating for our future isn’t just inspiring, it’s urgently necessary. And I’m honored to join them.”
“This month’s group of endorsees brings about a sense of hope, in a much needed time. From state legislators to education or municipal candidates, our endorsees have the fight within them to defend and protect the interests of Americans everywhere” said RFS co-founder Amanda Litman. “Time is of the essence, and we must use everything in our power to boost young progressives into positions of leadership for the sake of our futures.”
The July endorsement class represents 21 different states, and includes 17 candidates receiving an RFS endorsement for a second time. Find out more about our phenomenal new endorsees below.

Amanda Litman and Ross Morales Rocketto launched RFS on Jan. 20, 2017 with a simple premise: help young diverse progressives to run for down-ballot races in order to build a bench for the future. RFS aims to lower the barriers to entry for these candidates by helping them with seeding money, organization building, and access to the trainings needed to be successful. So far, over 77,000 young people from across the country have signed up to run and gained access to RFS resources.
#### Run for Something recruits and supports talented, passionate young people who advocate for progressive values now and for the next 30 years, with the ultimate goal of building a progressive bench. |
