After avoiding the question multiple times, Jim Jordan finally admitted last night on Fox News that he spoke to President Trump on January 6th. But he refused to discuss the substance of his conversations with the ex-president and then tried to change the subject by attacking Speaker Pelosi.
What exactly did Jim Jordan and Donald Trump discuss?
Did Trump express support for the insurrection, or explain why he refused to call the attackers off or defend the Capitol?
What did Jim Jordan turn a blind eye to?
Jim Jordan is one of Donald Trump’s closest congressional allies: his cheerleader, enabler, co-conspirator and getaway driver. By his own admission, they speak all the time. Does anyone seriously think if their conversation exonerated Trump, Jim wouldn’t be sharing it with every camera he could find?
Jim Jordan must be subpoenaed to testify before the January 6th Committee so that the American people can find out exactly what they plotted together. It's very clear: we won't find out what Jordan knows without a push.
