Hello Colorado Republicans,

Please join me in calling on Senators Hickenlooper and Bennet to stop their party from moving the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) out of Colorado and back to D.C. With 99% of federal land in the West, Senator Cory Gardner was right that Grand Junction, Colorado, is the best location for the BLM.

Contact Bennet and Hickenlooper's offices today and tell them to fight to keep the BLM in Colorado.

  • Sen. Bennet's DC office number: 202-224-5852
  • Sen. Hickenlooper's DC office number: 202-224-5941

Congrats to Mesa County GOP and Weld County GOP for their very successful Lincoln Day Dinners, and also to Morgan County on growing participation in their Central Committee Meetings and activating new people. If you have a great report from your county, I'd love to hear about it.

Let's talk about School Boards for a minute. The Teachers Unions have been actively supporting the election of liberal School Board Members for many decades with money that comes from taxpayers and with many volunteers knocking doors for their candidates. The result is that our children are subjected to un-American, racist, and false teaching in school. Here are ways you or your county party can step up and work to get better candidates elected to School Board:

  • Give monetary or in-kind donations
  • Provide School Board Candidates with a team of volunteers to knock doors and make calls.
  • Promote Republican School Board Candidates on your website and social media as well as through emails and text messages.
  • Organize fund-raising events for Republican School Board Candidates.
  • Find, vet, train and coach Republican School Board Candidates or become a candidate yourself. (Ask us how!)

The Colorado State Republican Party strongly supports helping Republican School Board Candidates and strongly advises Republicans around Colorado to do the same. Without a solid education, we lose future generations. It's that simple.

Don’t forget to nominate a great Republican for our Centennial Awards Dinner!

See you soon!

Lauren Boebert, other CO reps call to reject Biden's Bureau of Land Management pick if she moves HQ to DC

Fox News: Three Republican Colorado representatives are calling on the state's two senators to reject President Biden's nominee to lead to Bureau of Land Management if she does not commit to keeping its headquarters in Colorado.

Republican Colorado Reps. Lauren Boebert, Doug Lamborn and Ken Buck on Tuesday asked Democratic Colorado Sens. John Hickenlooper and Michael Bennet to refuse Tracy Stone-Manning's nomination until the Biden administration commits to keeping the Bureau's headquarters in Grand Junction.

"If the Junior Senator from Michigan can hold up eight Department of Defense nominations to secure a victory for his state, then one of Colorado’s two U.S. Senators can hold up the BLM Director nomination to secure a victory for Colorado," Boebert said in a statement, referencing Democratic Michigan Sens. Gary Peters' and Debbie Stabenow's decisions to place procedural holds on certain Pentagon nominees, which they have since lifted.

State GOP chair Kristi Burton Brown visits Northeast Colorado

Sterling Journal-Advocate: It would be virtually impossible to match the travel regimen of Kristi Burton Brown.

The Colorado Republican Party chairwoman had pledged to visit every county in Colorado within her first year. She was elected by party leadership March 27 and Monday concluded her fourth month in office with visits to four Northeast Colorado counties. She has now visited 40 Colorado counties since her election and many of them several times.

“I think it is a reminder of the diversity we have in Colorado,” Burton Brown said. “We’re not just an Interstate-25 corridor state.”

She visited Sterling in Logan County, followed by stops in Julesburg in Sedgwick County, Holyoke in Phillips County and concluded her visit Monday to Northeast Colorado with an evening stop in Morgan County.
