Yesterday, we got news that Donald Trump made his first endorsement in an AG race this cycle, and he couldn’t have picked a more radical, extremist, corrupt AG:

Paxton has been in the press for years for his shady practices, frivolous lawsuits, and toxic management of the Texas Department of Justice, but we wanted to remind you of a few of the horrible things he’s done:

• Spoke at the pre-insurrection rally on January 6th while telling attendees, “You’ll never take back our country with weakness… we will not quit fighting. We’re not quitting.”
• Currently under FBI investigation for bribery after whistleblowers in his own office came forward about his actions.
• Indicted on felony securities fraud charges for telling potential investors to buy stock in a company that he never disclosed he would be compensated by (the case is still pending after five years).
• Attempted to overturn the results of the 2020 election in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin; his lawsuit was rejected by the Supreme Court.

Why is this important, friend? Because if Paxton and other Trump cronies continue to win elections and amass power, they force our country down a disastrous, radical path.

Democrats lost the last AG race in Texas by just 3%, Paxton was the worst performer of any Republican running statewide in Texas, and he barely won over 50% of the vote.

And he’s not the only one! Republicans AGs and candidates across the country are rallying behind Trump’s Big Lie, so with dozens of AG races over the next two years, we need to win.
